What happens after an information event?

If you choose to find out more about fostering with us at an event, we will follow up your enquiry with a phone call or meeting with one of our Foster with North East advisers. The aim is to get to know you better and find out about your interest in fostering. Our team can chat to you about different types of fostering and explore how becoming a foster carer might work for you. 

After this initial chat, if we both decide that progressing is the right step for you, we will guide you through how to submit an application to become a foster carer. We will also talk you through the foster care approval process and the support we can offer you.
